TOSHIYA KIMURA

CHIEF EXECUTIVE

Since 1988, Toshi had been engaged in Japanese equity asset management of specified money trusts and pension assets at Tokio Marine Asset Management Co., Ltd. for 10 years. After that, he became Chief Investment Officer at Tokio Marine's U.S. subsidiary, Tokio Marine Asset Management New York Co., Ltd. where he managed U.S. equity portfolios for pension clients. In 2000, he joined a New York based hedge fund company, Tiedemann Investment Group, and experienced in managing long/short fund strategy of Japanese equities, before establishing his own asset management company, Village Capital Limited where he managed US$600 million fund. In 2006, he moved the HQ of the company to Singapore. Following the sale of Village Capital, he formed a business consulting firm, Artist Farm Pte. Ltd., in 2017.

RICHARD YAP

PARTNER

Richard has a wide ranging career and extensive experience in the public administration, investment management and high-tech industries. He spent the first 10 years of his career in the public sector, and achieved at least US$400 mil of cumulative annual foreign direct investment (FDI) projects into Singapore when he was Head and Director of International Operations with the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB). After public service, he was on the Advisory board of a few high-tech venture companies from Europe and Asia, as well as managing real estate investment in China, Taiwan and Malaysia. In 2018, he joined the team to set up a US$200 mil family office fund in Singapore with the focus to invest into high tech and disruptive technologies while he became director of the Singapore office for a Japanese private equity investment firm before joining Artist Farm.

RISHIKESH SAWANT

MANAGER

Rishi has more than 10 years of IT and regional business development experience. He started working in 2007 at his family business of commodity supply and real estate in India. In 2012, he established his own IT start-up called Brickhills.com which is an online real estate platform that enables buyers and sellers to make transactions without engaging property brokers. Subsequently, he set up an IT outsourcing business, called Urban Infotech India, in 2015. The company provides web and software development service to small-mid sized enterprises (SME) in Singapore. In 2021, Rishi was featured in the TV program of Channel News Asia, a popular business news channel, for his contribution to SME in the area of smart automation and online supply-chain management system. Rishi is partnered with Artist Farm and facilitates business development between Japan, Singapore and India.
